Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering changes lives—it changes yours as well as those you serve. It brings purpose into our lives and effects change in society in a way that government funding and legislation can’t. When you volunteer at the Lighthouse of Oakland County everything you put your heart, mind and skills into helps bring people from crisis to independence.

Current Volunteer Openings at Lighthouse of Oakland County:

EITC Program

We will be teaming up with the Accounting Aid Society to provide FREE tax preparation for our clients.

We need volunteers!

The program runs from January 30 through April 10

Tuesdays and Thursdays 3pm until 7pm

Saturdays 10am until 2pm

We also need your help ensuring we have the supplies necessary to assist client in their transition from crisis to independence. Volunteers are needed to coordinate drives in their community for any of the following items:
